Jane Balvanz is a content developer with Teach n’ Kids Learn (TKL). She has over 30 years in the field of education, serving as an elementary and junior high school teacher and a school counselor.  

Balvanz has been an adjunct professor in counseling education at Drake University, is a Registered Play Therapist, and was a recipient of the Iowa Governor’s Award for Elementary School Counseling.  

She is the co-author of When Girls Hurt Girls®.
