Dane Solomon is a content developer &course facilitator with Teach n’ Kids Learn (TKL), and has spent her professional career working in urban education. 

Dane is a dedicated and versatile educator with a rich and diverse background who brings a unique blend of experiences to our education company. With 21 years of experience teaching humanities to high school and middle school students, Dane has consistently demonstrated a passion for fostering intellectual growth and critical thinking in young minds.

With a strong foundation in education, Dane earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University in 1998. His legal background enabled them to develop exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills, which have proven invaluable in the classroom. Dane completed his Teacher Certification requirements from Dowling College and Hofstra University in 2000-2001, solidifying his commitment to education and acquiring the necessary pedagogical tools to engage students effectively. This unique combination of legal acumen and teaching expertise empowers Dane to bring real-world relevance to his humanities instruction, making complex concepts accessible and engaging for students.

Dane spent eight years as a part-time captain/mate on commercial fishing boats in New York, a role that exposed them to diverse perspectives and unique challenges. This hands-on experience has instilled in them a deep appreciation for the practical application of knowledge and an understanding of the importance of adaptability and teamwork—skills he enthusiastically shares with his students.
