This course on effective strategies for remote learning will provide educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach and support student learning in a virtual setting.
The course will cover key strategies for navigating video software and preparing an inclusive and equitable digital classroom, including techniques for ensuring that all learners have access to and can effectively use the technology needed for remote learning. Educators will also learn how to use gamification to develop virtual student engagement, including strategies for designing and implementing gamified activities and assessments. |
In addition, the course will examine the importance of creating a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters self-regulation, including the role of the teacher in modeling and promoting self-regulatory behaviors.
Throughout the course, educators reflect on their teaching practices and develop a plan for implementing effective remote learning strategies in their classrooms.
